Hollywood Switch: Troma Edition
Hollywood Switch
I couldn’t wait until this weekend and last night I sat down and watched Role Models. I have not laughed that hard in a while. Definitely worth the price of a rental and I am probably going to buy it.

You know I love to mix and match actors and films. I have done 12 of these before this one and each time this particular post gets more difficult to write. You would think it would be easy given that there are some many movies and actors to choose from. However a majority of films are cast fairly well. Guys like Matt Lessall work very hard to ensure the cast fits the story. Casting is a very important part of the film making process. The casting director finds pieces to the puzzle that the director puts together.
While these men and women try to get us the best possible cast for any given movie there are sometimes things that make us question their sanity. Everyone makes mistakes. However keep in mind I respect what casting directors do and that the job sounds a lot easier than it actually is. With that in mind here I go again trashing the job they do with my own decisions in casting to either fix broken films or make them just a bit sillier.

Last night I caught a 2 hour biography on Eddie Murphy and it got me to thinking about how under used this guy is. The way I put it is, “He is good in everything he does, though some of the things he does are not very good.”
I am hopeful as Eddie did hint at doing stand up again which would be awesome. If you have never seen Delirious or Raw, then go rent them now.

Ever want to swap slashers from your favorite films, I have. Today I am going to do it. This could get ugly.
